This project was based on layout design and typography. I was challenged to write about and visually represent 10 typography principles.

I started by deciding which typography principles I wanted to write about. I then decided on the general tone and style of the booklet. Lastly, I decided how to visually represent each principle and which other elements to include.

My booklet was designed based on my own personal branding, combined with cute, descriptive,098 and leading elements. I chose to work under the theme of clarity and cleanliness, which informed my design elements. My main design element is the bubble, which draws the reader's attention to the clean blocks of text. There are also handwritten notes and quotes scattered throughout the pages to add an element of personality and cheekiness to the otherwise information-heavy booklet. Lastly, I printed and saddle-stitched the booklet myself.
